Who can participate?
The tournament is open to players rated between NTRP 3.5 and 4.5 (or up to UTR 7). This corresponds to players ranging from beginners with some experience to those who participate in low to medium-level tournaments. If you can reliably hit the ball in the strings, this is the event for you!

How does it work?

• Match setup: Participants will be grouped and must coordinate match times and book courts independently. Courts are available at Holmen, Asker, Nesøya, Ullern, Stabekk, and Vestre Bærum.
• Tournament format:
  • Round Robin: Players are divided into groups of four. The top two players from each group advance to the knockout stage.
  • Knockout stage: Quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final will determine the winner.
  • Quarterfinal matches will be played on Saturday, and the final will take place on Sunday.
• Match rules: Matches are typically one hour long. Players can agree to play longer sets but must finish within a two-hour limit.

Schedule and Fee

• The tournament begins around Christmas and concludes the following Sunday.
• Invitations will be shared via WhatsApp the day before the start.
• A participation fee of 125 NOK is required and will be used for trophies.

Prizes
The winner will receive the coveted “walking trophy,” a trophy as impressive in size as the Champions League trophy.
