Every year, promising young players from clubs in and around Oslo come to Konglungen to play tennis, swim, and make authentic Neapolitan pizza by hand. A day they remember for a long time.
Give the kids a memorable day of tennis, swimming and pizza-making. Konglungen provides the court, pizza oven and ingredients — the visiting club brings their own coach.
We take care of the rest. The kids shape, stretch and bake their own pizza in a real Neapolitan pizza oven — after playing tennis on one of Norway's oldest courts.
Ages 8–12 · Weekends & school holidays · Clubs in and around Oslo
Court use for 1–4 hours. The visiting club's own coach leads the sessions. Konglungen provides ball equipment and a welcome tour of the facility.
Included in court hire
Authentic Neapolitan pizza baked by hand. The dough is ready — kids shape it, choose their toppings and bake in the pizza oven. Christian guides them through the process.
100 NOK per child
Optional wind-down after the tennis session. The sea is right next to the court. Parental responsibility — kids are safe in familiar surroundings.
Optional add-on
Choose your preferred date and duration (1–4 hours) to suit your club and the kids.
The visiting club provides their own coach. Make sure your coach is available on the chosen date.

We confirm the booking and send you practical information about the facility and the day.
End the match session with a short tournament — first to 7. The winner gets the honour of cutting the first pizza. Creates engagement and a little extra motivation at the end of the session.
Players try to keep the ball in play as long as possible — as pairs, as a team of four counting shots together, or as a group finale. Trains control, rhythm and concentration, and is a lot of fun.
One court is set aside as Challenge Court: the winner stays on, the next challenger comes in. Short format — first to 7 or tie-break to 10. Creates natural competition and social flow.
Chooses which group comes and proposes a date. Runs the tennis session as normal. No extra responsibilities — the coach just shows up and coaches.
Coordinate with KTK. Send information to the parent group. Handle sign-ups and payment. This is where the practical organising happens — not with the coach.
Confirms the booking, receives payment, and makes sure the facility is ready — courts, oven, ingredients. Everything is in place when the group arrives.

Clubs coming from Oslo organise their own transport — taxi or minibus. This is a well-established routine for visiting clubs and requires no coordination from Konglungen.
Junior group visited Konglungen for a full Pizza & Tennis day on the clay courts.

Jakub Čvanda · Project Manager, Oslo TennisklubbBest dates: June–August. May tends to have many competing activities in junior tennis — experience shows roughly one in three sign-ups show up. For the best possible day, book in summer.
Two relevant tournaments in the region this weekend.
Public holiday — children are free all day. Realistic option. Some families may travel, but many stay home.
No junior tournaments in the region. One of the best weekends in May — full day available, good weather expected.
Whitsun weekend (18–19 May): families at home, could work — but Regionsturnering Østland Øst and NM Lag U14 on Nordstrand 22–25 May makes the second half of the week a conflict. Whitsun Saturday/Sunday are the only realistic days here.
Ljan primarily affects south Oslo clubs, not Asker/Bærum.
Tournament finished Saturday. A relaxed full day for pizza and swimming.
Snarøya U10 is directly relevant — many players from the region will be competing.
A natural wind-down day after the tournament weekend. Children and parents are in tennis mode without the pressure.
