Practical Information

Rules, answers
& a few good habits

Everything you need to know before stepping onto the court. A small field guide to life at Konglungen, where the red clay, the fjord and a little bit of courtesy make the whole place work.

⏱️

Arrive early

Come 5 minutes before your booking. The court rewards calm beginnings more than frantic shoe-lacing in the parking lot.

👟

Bring suitable shoes

Clay court shoes are best. Avoid deep patterns that carve the court like a tiny tractor.

💧

Finish with care

Use the last 5 minutes to water and brush the court. A good player leaves the next player a better court.

🌙

Respect the neighbours

The club sleeps close to homes and the fjord. After 22:00, even tennis balls should whisper.

📱 Online Booking

All bookings are made through MATCHi, either on the website or in the app. Payment is handled automatically.

📅 Advance Booking

Members can book up to 2 weeks ahead. Drop-in players can book 48 hours in advance.

⏰ Playing Time

Maximum 2 hours per booking and 4 hours per day per person, so the court remains available to more players.

↩️ Cancellation

Free cancellation until 2 hours before your booking. MATCHi refunds automatically.

🌤️ Season

The official season is May to September, though the court often opens early and lingers into autumn.

🕐 Playing Hours

The court is open every day from 06:00 to 22:00.

👟 Shoes

Use shoes designed for clay courts. Soft soles protect the surface and make sliding possible without leaving small geological events behind.

💧 Water the Court

Water the court for at least 5 minutes after play. Stop slightly early so the next players meet a court, not a dust storm.

🧹 Brush the Court

Brush the entire court and clean the lines before leaving. Think of it as putting the chess pieces back after a beautiful game.

🗑️ Keep It Tidy

Please take rubbish, cans and old balls with you. The court should look cared for, not recently visited by a wandering picnic.

🤫 Be Considerate

Please avoid loud noise and strong language. We have close neighbours and prefer to remain the charming club by the fjord, not the thunderstorm.

🎾 Private Coaching

Private coaching is not allowed during prime time (17:00–20:00) without approval from the club.
